I created this site for a class final project. It provides an overview of the NFL kneeling protests that were sparked by Colin Kaepernick and have continued during this past year. I wrote it in the style of a news piece, and used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with three APIs.

The APIs I used were the Google Maps API, the Twitter feed API and The Guardian‘s The Counted API, which tracks the number of people killed by police brutality in the U.S. every year. Additional data on specific protests was gathered from ESPN and ThinkProgress.
